This role is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated professional with a strong background in electro-mechanical manufacturing processes, tooling design, and project management.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in bringing new products to life by partnering with cross-functional teams to successfully transition products from prototype into production. You will help shape manufacturing strategies and implement solutions that support quality, safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Essential Functions: • Support a cross-functional team through the New Product Introduction process.
• On-time completion of NPI deliverables, including: DFMA, PFMEA, process flow diagrams, manufacturing plans, and capability models.
• Work with operations to assemble prototype and engineering validation builds for new products.
• Create, maintain, and improve process documentation, work instructions, and procedures.
• Design and implement electro-mechanical solutions to improve manufacturing operations
• Support programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated equipment and PLC-controlled systems
• Investigate production issues and establish root cause and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods
• Train engineers and technicians on processes, systems, and standards
• Monitor and analyze process data, identify trends, and recommend improvements for new and existing product lines
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or graduate degree with 2+ years of experience
Preferred Additional Skills: • Willingness to work and learn in a fast-paced production environment
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office products
• Experience with IPC workmanship standards, including IPC-610 & J-STD-001
• Competency with 3d Modeling software, CREO preferred
• Lean Six Sigma green belt or equivalent
• Experience with machine visions systems (COGNEX, Keyence, etc.,)
• Automation experience
• Interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a cross functional team
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $73,000 - $135,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
