Job Description

In this role, you will contribute to MCAAS’s mission by applying strong analytical and leadership skills alongside emerging technologies. You will help advance strategic initiatives, improve risk assessment capabilities, and identify opportunities for process improvement. Your work will support the company’s financial goals while upholding high standards of integrity and ethical conduct. 

Responsibilities 

  • Support audit teams by fulfilling data requests from financial, accounting, and compliance systems across the company. 

  • Drive the strategic integration of AI tools to innovate and streamline the end-to-end audit process, from planning and risk assessment to execution and reporting.

  • Develop analytics solutions and dashboards using datasets to provide real-time risk assessments and control insights through Power BI and other Microsoft tools. 

  • Contribute to team projects and deliver outputs using agile project management methods. 

  • Build automations that improve efficiency and save time using tools such as UiPath, Dataiku, and Python/R. 

  • Document technical solutions in line with SDLC requirements and guidance. 

  • Collaborate with and present to finance and analytics groups to share insights and leverage existing solutions. 

  • Explore and test new systems and technologies to expand team capabilities and generate new insights. 

  • Support the execution of financial, operational, SOX 404, IT, integrated, and process audits in domestic and international settings to help maintain a strong internal control environment. 

Education Minimum Requirement: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or another field with a strong focus on data analytics preferred. 

Required Experience and Skills: 

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Finance, Internal Audit, or Data Analytics 

  • Strong data analytics skills, including data transformation, modeling, analysis, and visualization 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 

  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools 

  • Familiarity with SAP COMET, ATLAS, FSA, BPC, Veeva, and other ERP systems 

  • Familiarity with automation tools such as UiPath and Power Automate 

  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as Dataiku, Matillion, and Databricks 

  • Familiarity with coding languages such as SQL, R, Python, or VBA 

  • Familiarity with agile project management methods and Jira 

  • Familiarity with AI and agentic AI systems 

  • Understanding of advanced or predictive analytics 

  • Understanding of data governance practices and SDLC compliance 

  • Demonstrated success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment 

  • Demonstrated ethics and integrity in a professional environment 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members 

  • Strong interest in data, technology, and finance 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 

  • Travel up to 10%, domestic and international 

Preferred Experience and Skills: 

  • Understanding of financial systems and financial controls 

  • Experience with financial auditing, financial controls, and/or compliance 

  • Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages

The salary range for this role is

$87,300.00 - $137,400.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
