As Part of Our Team, You Will- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and commodity market developments and assess their potential impact on the business.
- Develop and support macroeconomic and portfolio scenarios to evaluate future opportunities and risks.
- Utilize economic and commodity modeling tools to generate insights and deliver stakeholder-ready presentations.
- Conduct research on geopolitical trends, shareholder dynamics, emerging technologies, and industry developments.
- Contribute to strategic reviews using historical and global market analogs.
- Support Executive Leadership Team and Board presentations with data-driven analysis and future-focused insights.
- Maintain and monitor geopolitical risk registers and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Corporate Development, Government Relations, Supply Chain, and Mine Planning teams.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role- Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of macroeconomics, geopolitics, commodity markets, and the mining industry lifecycle.
- Experience in economic analysis, scenario planning, strategic forecasting, risk assessment, or portfolio development.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to quickly synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights.
- Strong business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, planning, and financial analysis.
- Experience supporting complex business decisions across operational, financial, and strategic functions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across diverse teams.

Work Environment, Pay & Benefits:This position is based in our Denver, CO corporate headquarters, with flexibility for hybrid work. The base salary range is $86,500-$115,300 (reflecting market rates and your qualifications). The final base pay offer will be based on individual factors such as your experience, and skills - we do not ask for or use your prior pay in setting your compensation. You will also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and personal performance.
