Role: Business Data Analyst

Location: Irving, TX

The Specialist in BFS Generic BADA with 5 to 8 years of experience will bridge business and technology teams to analyze and optimize business processes within the BFS domain

Job Description

Collaborate with business users and technology teams to gather and analyze business requirements Conduct detailed business and data analysis to support decisionmaking and process improvements Translate business needs into functional specifications and system impacts Utilize analytical techniques such as root cause analysis to identify and resolve business challenges Maintain awareness of industry standards and evolving business requirements to recommend system enhancements Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies throughout project lifecycles Support continuous iterative exploration and refinement of business processes Prepare and present documentation including flow diagrams UI mockups and data mappings to stakeholders Leverage proficiency in MS Office tools and collaborate effectively within Agile and Scrum environmentsLead comprehensive business analysis and technical project management for critical US Banking platforms including Enterprise Fraud Detection Deposits Payments and Trust Technology applications

Translate complex business requirements into clear actionable user stories epics functional specifications and defined system scope and objectives fostering effective communication between business and IT

Design develop and implement robust datapipeline procedures reports and interactive dashboards to meet US Banking Regulatory requirements utilizing data models and repositories for rich enduser experiences

Partner strategically with business owners to identify data visualization needs evangelize existing solutions and synthesize information into actionable insights for informed decisionmaking

Serve as a key liaison between business users and technologists consulting to resolve complex system issues through indepth evaluation of business processes systems and industry standards

Drive and support system change processes from requirements through implementation providing expert input and proactive identification and communication of potential risks and impacts

Act as a Subject Matter Expert SME for senior stakeholders and team members exercising independence of judgment and operating with a limited level of direct supervision

Proactively assess and mitigate risks in business and technology decisions ensuring adherence to applicable laws regulations and Citigroup policies to safeguard the firms reputation

Demonstrate a keen understanding of AI adoption trends and possess the ability to perform vibe analysis to gauge sentiment and receptiveness towards AIdriven initiatives ensuring successful integration and value maximization

Roles and Responsibilities

Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure clear communication and understanding Lead requirement gathering sessions and translate highlevel business features into detailed user stories and epics Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as process flows functional specifications and impact analyses Identify and communicate project risks and propose mitigation strategies considering business implications Facilitate feature demonstrations and status reporting to business and management teams Evaluate new IT developments and recommend appropriate solutions aligned with business objectives Apply sound ethical judgment and ensure adherence to compliance risk management and policy guidelines Support testing teams by providing clarifications on requirements and validating deliverables Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the BFS domain

Experience in data analysis with intermediateadvanced Microsoft Office Suite skills

Proven interpersonal data analysis diplomatic management and prioritization skills

Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

Proven ability to manage multiple activities and builddevelop working relationships

Proven selfmotivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly

Demonstrated expertise or strong knowledge in the Fraud domain particularly in managing enterpriselevel solutions for fraud detection and prevention

Proven experience in successfully leading and delivering AIbased projects

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
