Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher ready to empower students and schools? Here's what you'll need to join our team:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification: Valid Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) through the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
  • Additional Requirements: Knowledge of special education laws, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and familiarity with the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) process. CPR certification is preferred.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
Your Role: As a Special Education Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs and helping them achieve their educational goals. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop Individualized Plans: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
