Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in Odessa, TX

Position Overview
  • Deliver specialized instruction and individualized support to students with diverse learning needs by adapting curriculum and teaching strategies to promote academic growth.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using student data and assessments to track progress and guide instructional decisions.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and maintain effective communication regarding goals and progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices, educational technology, and differentiated instruction to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid Texas Special Education Certification with Generalist (K-8) endorsement
  • Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
  • Experience supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, cognitive, or developmental needs in a special education setting preferred
