About the RoleAmpersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in Pulaski, TN In this role, you'll provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed. You'll work with a collaborative district and a supportive, therapist-run team.
What You'll Do- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
- Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
- Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
- Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning
What We're Looking For- TN certification for Special Education Teaching with Comprehensive Endorsement (461)
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Special Education
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
