Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide developmentally appropriate instruction that supports early learning, communication, social-emotional growth, and school readiness
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary team members
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and appropriate assistive technology when needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and family conferences
Qualifications:- Valid Washington State teaching certificate
- Special Education endorsement required
- Experience working with preschool-aged children or early childhood special education preferred
- Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete them
