Full Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Lead and develop sourcing team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
  • Develop and execute sourcing and commodity strategies for metals categories that optimize cost, quality, delivery, supply continuity, and overall business performance.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management activities, building strategic partnerships that support business objectives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
  • Drive supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks through proactive planning, market analysis, and contingency strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and market intelligence to inform sourcing decisions, evaluate supplier capabilities and productivity opportunities.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:
$105,000.00 - $195,000.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
