  • Enforce rigorous engineering and secure coding standards across all delivery paths, while leading technical design, environment setups, and technical debt remediation.
  • Direct legacy-to-modern coexistence engineering, including contract-first APIs, HL7/FHIR messaging, and secure, non-blocking data exposure from legacy VistA systems.
  • Own and continuously optimize reusable CI/CD pipelines by embedding Guardrails-as-Code (SAST, DAST, scanning) and automated testing to ensure secure, compliant, and predictable releases.

  • Proven ability to deliver solutions across diverse technology stacks, including legacy applications, custom development, SaaS (e.g., ServiceNow, Nuvolo), and containerized cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenShift).
  • Strong expertise in integration engineering, utilizing contract-first API design, REST/JSON services, HL7/FHIR messaging, and InterSystems IRIS interoperability.
  • Hands-on experience operating within SAFe environments, including participating in PI Planning, identifying technical enablers, and managing cross-team dependencies.
  • Deep understanding of VA OIT engineering processes, ensuring compliance with the Technical Reference Model (TRM), ATO/A&A security gates, Section 508, and strict vulnerability remediation timelines.
