Job Summary:The Solution Business Development Lead will build and expand PsiQuantum's customer base, partner network, and broader ecosystem across hyperscale, AI infrastructure, networking, and telecommunications markets. This role will identify opportunities early in the design and planning process, influence customer requirements, and position PsiQuantum's solutions for future adoption. The Lead will oversee strategic customer engagements, manage RFI and RFP responses, translate market and customer needs into actionable product requirements, and represent the company in relevant industry standards and consortium activities. This individual will also maintain a competitive market perspective and own pipeline forecasting and the commercial narrative for business reviews.
Responsibilities:- Identify and develop customers, partners and ecosystem relationships across hyperscale, AI infrastructure, network OEMs and telecom.
- Run early co-design engagements - our architects in front of theirs before requirements freeze.
- Own RFI and RFP responses end to end, technical content and commercial positioning.
- Bring customer requirements back into product definition with enough rigor to act on.
- Represent us in the standards and consortium work where interface specs are being written.
- Build and maintain the competitive picture - who ships what, at what radix, how substantiated.
Experience/Qualifications:- 8+ years in BD or technical sales of networking or datacenter hardware.
- Design-in wins with hyperscale, cloud or large network OEM customers - not channel volume.
- Working knowledge of fabric architecture: leaf-spine, scale-up vs scale-out, where cost and power sit.
- Experience shaping a customer's requirements rather than responding to them.
- Comfort selling a product that is still being defined.
