Solution Architect (Remote)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution Architect to lead the design and deployment of enterprise-scale solutions for our strategic financial services clients. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong client engagement and advisory capabilities, helping customers modernize complex environments leveraging SymphonyAI platforms and solutions

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
  • Own end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for client implementations across on-premise, hosted, and SaaS models.
  • Be accountable for solution scalability, resilience, security, performance, maintainability, and other non-functional requirements.
  • Design scalable architectures spanning cloud, data, AI, analytics, and integration domains aligned to client business and regulatory needs.
  • Define integration patterns and technical approaches across enterprise systems, cloud services, APIs, and third-party platforms.
  • Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to Professional Services and delivery teams through the implementation lifecycle.
  • Identify and manage architectural risks, dependencies, and technical challenges in complex client environments.

Client Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients for modernization initiatives across financial crime, regulatory technology, risk, data, and core banking ecosystems.
  • Partner with client business and technology stakeholders to translate objectives into scalable solution architectures.
  • Lead architecture workshops, discovery sessions, technical strategy discussions, and solution demonstrations.
  • Support strategic client engagements, proposals, RFP responses, and technical sales pursuits.

Product & Engineering Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to influence roadmap decisions, platform scalability, and technical strategy through client/implementation insights.
  • Contribute to reusable architecture patterns, implementation standards, deployment frameworks, and reference architectures.
  • Collaborate across engineering, DevOps, QA, and delivery teams to ensure scalable and supportable implementations.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current with emerging trends in AI, cloud, financial services technology, and enterprise architecture best practices.
  • Contribute to initiatives improving implementation quality, customer outcomes, and platform adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions within financial services, including significant solution or enterprise architecture experience
  • Experience supporting large-scale modernization initiatives in banking, financial crime, risk, regulatory, or data-intensive environments
  • Proven ability to design scalable enterprise architectures across cloud, data, integration, and AI-enabled platforms
  • Experience deploying enterprise applications across on-premise, hosted, hybrid, and SaaS environments
  • Strong knowledge of non-functional architecture requirements (scalability, resiliency, performance, observability, security)
  • Experience with modern integration technologies and distributed architectures (REST APIs, messaging, event-driven systems, Kafka, Spark, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise databases and data platforms (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud and deployment technologies: AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, infrastructure automation
  • Experience with AI/ML operationalization, analytics platforms, and enterprise data ecosystems
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills; able to engage effectively with senior internal and client leadership
  • Experience influencing product direction and technical evolution by working with Product and Engineering teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and architecture decision-making capabilities
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments and fast-paced enterprise programs

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial crime, AML, KYC, fraud detection, regulatory reporting, or core banking domains
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
  • Experience with data governance, master data management, and enterprise analytics platforms
  • Experience with enterprise middleware and app servers (JBoss, WebSphere, WildFly)
