Position Introduction: - The client is seeking a Ground Software Test Engineer to perform integration testing on software related to the ground operations of rocket launches in Centennial, CO.
Key Duties: - Analyze software requirements.
- Develop and maintain test procedures.
- Execute and debug tests.
- Identify problems with the software or test environment.
- Perform formal testing under Quality Assurance (QA) witness.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education: - 2 or more years of experience with software testing.
- Experience with formal software and Hardware-in-the-loop verification and validation testing.
- Linux/Unix experience.
- C++ and/or real-time programming experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to write technical reports and formal test procedures.
- Ability to support different shifts, including weekends as needed.
- Strength working in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: - Familiarity with the Atlassian Agile tools.
- Knowledge of test automation, simulation software, and simulation environments.
- Experience with typical scripting languages such as Bash.
