The Work
The C2BMC-Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a Software Systems Engineer that will thrive in a fast paced team environment in the design, development, and testing of the C2BMC applications.
Common responsibilities of a software systems engineer on the RA ART team include:
• Perform in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support.
• Systems Engineering support for team that maintains, debugs and configures related software products.
• Work from specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications.
• Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs.
• Work with the SEIT organization to decompose system requirements to good software level requirements.
• Work with the SEIT organization to drive system use cases, CONOPS, and sequences.
• Work with the SEIT organization to develop / update system external interfaces.
Basic Qualifications
- Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
- In-depth understanding of systems engineering process and principles.
- Proven track record of successfully applying system engineering principles to develop product solutions.
- Experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions.
- Working knowledge of system engineering artifacts (e.g. specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, etc.).

Desired skills
- Candidates should have experience with developing large, complex systems.
- Software development experience developing applications.
- Automated test and pipeline development experience desired.
- Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
- Experience with Software Integration testing including developing automated test scrips.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Experience with performance modeling.
- Experience with build management tools and pipelines.
- Prior C2BMC experience.
- Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and MBSE tools.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
