OverviewVTG is seeking a Software Developer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers.
What will you do?- Collaborate with internal and external teams for integrations and tasking delivery
- Comfort and familiarity in maintaining legacy applications
- Experience in modernization of legacy applications
- Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Experience leveraging Amazon Web Services
- Experience creating RESTful API
- Experience with spring boot
- Develop Java and Angular (Typescript)
- Comfort and familiarity designing and utilizing custom ETL methodology
- Strong communication, design, and documentation skills
- Strong workflow and time management skills
- Comfort and familiarity in unit testing, peer code review, and automated testing techniques like Selenium (create, edit, maintain, execute)
- Work within the parameters of Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Ability to methodically think through technical challenges in a collaborative team environment in order to provide technically sound solutions

- BS degree and 4-10 years of prior relevant experience
- Must have experience in multiple programming languages (Java, spring boot, Angular (Typescript), and the Cloud / Amazon Web Services)
- Full Stack Development
- Experience developing solutions to satisfy customer requirements and specifications
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, selenium, and Rundeck
- Experience working in Command Line (RH Linux)
• Experience with Identity and Accessibility development practices
• Experience developing custom ETL
• Experience utilizing ETL frameworks (NiFi, Camel, Airflow, etc)
• Experience with automation methodologies like selenium
• Experience with containerization and modular development
• Familiarity with UI/UX Design
• Certification - Amazon Web Services (AWS)
