Software EngineerWe are seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain modern web applications and services across the Healio network. You'll have the opportunity to work across frontend, backend, CMS, cloud infrastructure, and deployment workflows using primarily TypeScript, C#, Python and SQL. AI assisted development with grounded human oversight is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain web applications using TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Develop backend services and APIs using C#, Python and TypeScript.
- Integrate and manage CMS-driven content using Contentstack and Sitecore.
- Design, write, and optimize SQL queries and data workflows in PostgreSQL, SQL Server and BigQuery.
- Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on AWS and Vercel.
- Maintain reliable CI/CD and code quality workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable features.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance, reliability, and developer experience.
Required Qualifications- A team player with a winning personality and excellent communication skills.
- A desire to lean and push the boundaries of AI capabilities.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience building production applications.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Vercel deployments.
- Strong frontend implementation skills with Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap.
- Experience building APIs and backend services in Python, C# and/or Node.js.
- Strong SQL skills and practical experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server and/or BigQuery.
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., Aurora PostgreSQL, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS).
- Experience with gitflow, version control and CI/CD.
- Experience developing with Cursor, Claude Code, Codex or similar.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Contentstack or similar headless CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or AWS CDK).
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
- Exposure to AI spec driven development is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
The annual base salary for this position is $60,000 to $110,000. Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience, and equity with internal team members. The Software Engineer is a hybrid role. Employees living within a 50-mile radius to our office in Thorofare, NJ will be scheduled to work at this location 2 days per week. Remote applicants will not be considered at this time.
