ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
We have an immediate need for a versatile Software Engineer to collaborate closely with Product Owners, Systems Engineers, and Project Software Engineers to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application. In this role, you will build and maintain resilient backend services, craft RESTful interfaces, and streamline continuous integration and deployment pipelines within a containerized Kubernetes Linux ecosystem.
The annual base salary range for this role is $178,000-$210,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills
Software Development: Strong, hands-on experience developing with Python in a Linux environment.
API Design: Demonstrated experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Linux Expertise: Proficiency using the Linux CLI, core utilities, and developing Bash and Python scripts for automation and tool integration.
Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and operational familiarity with container orchestration in Kubernetes.
Helm Packaging: Direct experience authoring and maintaining Helm Charts to deploy containerized services onto Kubernetes.
Relational Databases: Practical experience with SQL database technologies, specifically MySQL.
CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., GitLab CI).
Version Control: Proficiency with the Git source control system and collaborative branching strategies.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, PLUS 5+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience OR Master's Degree in a related field, PLUS 3+ years of specialized analytical experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 7+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills
Web Frameworks: Hands-on experience with the Django web framework.
Asynchronous Task Processing: Experience with Celery or similar distributed task queues/schedulers.
Web Servers & Proxies: Practical experience configuring and optimizing NGINX.
Agile Tooling: Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for team collaboration and project tracking.
AI Tooling: Experience leveraging modern AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., Claude Code).
