Software Engineer
This role is located in the Tampa, FL area
The Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer helps design, build, and maintain scalable, cloud-based applications that support critical business operations. In this role, you will work across modern web technologies-including React, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure-contributing to both frontend and backend development while collaborating closely with a cross-functional team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of impactful systems, influence technical decisions, and grow your expertise in a modern engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications using React and .NET
- Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data models
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and backend services
- Contribute to cloud-based deployments and architecture in Azure
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and production issues
- Collaborate with product, QA, and business stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Support CI/CD and DevOps processes
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred
Specific Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Key Skills
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience in one or more of the following:
-Backend development with C#/.NET, OR
-Frontend development with React
- Working knowledge of full-stack development concepts
- Experience with REST APIs and modern web architectures
- Familiarity with cloud platforms with a preference for Azure
- Experience using Git and modern development workflows
- Solid understanding of SDLC, testing approaches, and code quality standards
Beneficial Experience
- Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of ORMs such as Entity Framework, Dapper, or similar technologies
- Experience with authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
- Exposure to regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, GDPR)
- Experience working on ecommerce or high-volume transactional systems
