Full Job Description
Within Space Security area, the Arctic Gates program is growing, and we are looking for a Software Product owner to lead our team of dedicated full stack software engineers to meet our Customer's needs. Our team will be developing and integrating new Operational C2 systems in a virtual cloud environment and working closely with other Mission Partners to deliver a fully integrated system to the Customer comprised of critical software applications.
As the Software Product owner, you will be leading a team composed of 5-6 software engineers of varying levels of experience. You will work closely with other technical leads on the program on the following types of tasks:
• Working with the agile team & architects to identify and define the software features needs to meet system requirements, which includes defining acceptance criteria
• Agile backlog management, refinement and prioritization for software features, flowing changes into the overall Enterprise Roadmap; coordinating with Mission Partners on features that have interfaces
• Leading and preparing, in conjunction with the scrum master, for Release Planning, Sprint Planning, and Incremental Design Reviews, which may include pre-planning and design-time as needed
• Verifying that the features implemented by the team throughout each agile release are complete and verified, meeting all acceptance criteria, which may involve manual or automated testing, reviewing merge requests, or documentation
• Identifying and working through software feature dependencies, government furnished needs (GFx), and risks or opportunities
• Coordinating with the System Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team on when features, defects are ready for system test, supporting DR review boards and moving DRs through the lifecycle until they are closed
• Review artifacts for Engineering Review Boards for items such as system architecture, interface control documents, test reports, and other contract deliverables (CDRLs)
• Supporting Engineering Change Proposals, rough orders of magnitude (ROMs) and other inputs for new work or new business

Basic Qualifications
• Previous software development experience in any of the following programming Languages/scripting - JavaScript/Node, C#/Java
• Agile scrum experience and proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Version One, Confluence)
• Experience with GitLab pipelines for software projects
• Active Top Secret security clearance to start with either SCI or Special access experience
• Experience working across teams or with external stakeholders
Desired skills
• Previous software Product Owner experience
• Automated testing experience
• Modern Web Frameworks - Angular/React/Vue.js/Ember.js
• Database - MS SQL/Postgres/MySQL
• Experience supporting engineering change proposals or new business pursuits
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $131,000 - $227,125.
