Standard Job DescriptionStandard Job DescriptionThe selected Software Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the SPA team. This role is responsible for developing SW products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 Years Experience with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years Experience with Masters.
- Applicants must have an active DOD Secret security clearance
- Experience programming with C++
- Ability to read other coding languages
Desired Skills- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Experience with the System Engineering Lifecycle
- Experience with simulation and simulation frameworks
- Experience with Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket
- Experience with Unit Test and System Test Development
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00
