Job DescriptionJovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a Software Engineer Level 3 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.
A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
Primary Responsibilities:- Analyze user and systemrequirements to design and implement software solutions.
- Develop, test, debug, andmaintain Java and Angular applications.
- Design, develop, and maintainRESTful APIs, service integrations, PostgreSQL database interactions,queries, and data access components.
- Support application modernizationefforts, including migration to Spring Boot, decomposition of monolithicfunctionality into microservices, and application containerizationinitiatives.
- Implement and maintain documentparsing and data processing capabilities while supporting cloud migrationinitiatives.
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrumteam to deliver software capabilities on a four-week sprint cadence.
- Participate in code reviews,troubleshooting, testing activities, continuous process improvement,technical documentation, and utilization of GitLab CI/CD, Jira, andConfluence to support development and delivery activities.

Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience or related discipline from an accredited college or university.Candidates without Bachelor's degrees will be considered on a case by casebasis and require 4 additional years of related experience.
- SWE Level 3: Twenty (20) years experience as a Software Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
- Experience developing softwareusing Java and developing web applications using Angular or similarfront-end frameworks.
- Experience designing andimplementing RESTful APIs and working with PostgreSQL or other relationaldatabase technologies.
- Experience with applicationmodernization and software architecture evolution.
- Experience working withinAgile/Scrum development teams and creating and maintaining technicaldocumentation.
- SecurityClearance Requirement: Must possess active TS/SCI with polygraph tobe considered for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience migrating applicationsto Spring Boot.
- Experience containerizingapplications using Docker or similar technologies and designing andimplementing microservices architectures.
- Experience deploying or migratingapplications to AWS cloud environments, including AWS servicessuch as Fargate and Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Experience implementing andmaintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines and utilizing Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with document parsing,data extraction, content processing frameworks.
