Position Summary: The Software Engineer will develop, integrate, optimize, and test advanced signal processing software supporting prototype and production-ready algorithm development. The engineer will work closely with algorithm developers to transition research into deployable capabilities.
Responsibilities: - Design and develop signal processing software.
- Implement algorithms in C++, Python, or similar languages.
- Integrate algorithms with sensor processing frameworks.
- Optimize software for performance and scalability.
- Develop automated testing and validation tools.
- Support containerized and cloud-based processing environments where applicable.
- Participate in Agile software development.
- Support laboratory demonstrations and field testing.
Required Qualifications: - BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years software development experience.
- Experience with:
- C++
- Python
- Git
- Linux
- Object-oriented design
- Understanding of digital signal processing concepts.
- Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
- Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
Preferred Qualifications: - CUDA or GPU programming.
- Embedded software development.
- Docker/Kubernetes.
- Machine Learning frameworks.
- Experience processing large sensor datasets.
- An active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access, and a CI Polygraph
Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $165,000 - $250,000 annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
- Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
