Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Overview:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
  • Working with our vendor WorkFusion daily as we upgrade 15 non prod and 6 prod environments to the latest version of Software
  • The key reason to upgrade WorkFusion software is to remediate enterprise mandates for End of Life and GIS vulnerabilities
  • Additionally we are trying to implement a 4th AI use case on the WorkFusion platform for AML sanctions screening


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Java/Spring developer background and ideally have good knowledge on the Workfusion platform
  • Workfusion development experience and platform knowledge
  • ML Model development experience using both WF OOTB models and Python
  • Experience working with distributed testing teams which span multiple geographies, time zones and cultures
  • Strong practical experience in machine learning, including model development and deployment using Python/Workfusion OOTB
  • Advanced expertise in relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and data modeling
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and enterprise integration patterns
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with Agile/scrum methodologies


Desired Qualifications:
  • Preferred WF ML certified and have good knowledge on banking domain
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role
