DUTIES- Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise software applications
- Develop new application functionality and modify existing applications to address enhancements, defects, and changing requirements
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications, APIs, integrations, scripts, and automated processes
- Troubleshoot application defects and production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions
- Support software upgrades, patches, technology refreshes, and application modernization activities
- Develop and maintain integrations between applications, databases, APIs, workflows, and external systems
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Maintain application code and technical artifacts using source control and configuration management practices
- Support software builds, deployment packages, and releases across development, test, pre-production, and production environments
- Perform unit, functional, regression, integration, performance, load, and user acceptance testing
- Develop and maintain system design, test, release, deployment, and other required technical documentation
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex application and production issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise software applications
- Experience with Java-based application development
- Experience developing APIs, integrations, and application interfaces
- Experience troubleshooting production applications and performing root cause analysis
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with source control, configuration management, software builds, and release processes
- Experience with software testing, including unit, integration, and regression testing
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
- Ability to satisfy federal background investigation and badging requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with Java 21, Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or comparable enterprise Java technologies
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic and Oracle databases
- Experience developing REST APIs and web-based applications
- Experience with Angular or comparable front-end technologies
- Experience with AWS or other cloud environments
- Experience with GitLab, JIRA, ServiceNow, or comparable development tools
- Experience supporting high-availability or mission-critical applications
- Experience supporting federal government information systems
Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year
