Full Job Description
Position Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and expand our SDK & Demo App ecosystem across multi-device and network environments. Our software layer supports our core identity document scanning hardware.

In this role, you will architect the core SDK & Demo App, directly embedding image processing, advanced calibration algorithms, and data capture libraries (OCR & Barcode) to maximize hardware performance and production. You will be responsible for delivering both the core APIs and Apps for B2B client integration interactive Demo, alongside internal Engineering Apps required for device optimization, hardware testing, and factory calibration.

Role Summary
  • Job Title: Software Engineer (PC/Embedded SDK & Demo App Development)
  • Department: R&D Dept.
  • Core Tech Stack: C++, C# / .NET, Windows/Linux Systems Programming, Embedded Systems, Image Processing (OpenCV), Network Programming (RESTful APIs, WebSockets)

Key Responsibilities
  • Core SDK and Apps (Image & Data Recognition Engine)
    • Design, build, and maintain the core SDK framework and associated apps, supporting both external B2B client demo applications and internal engineering tools for hardware verification, calibration, and factory production.
    • Develop and optimize low-latency image pre-processing pipelines (including image enhancement, auto-cropping, and ROI extraction).
    • Integrate and optimize third-party libraries (e.g., OCR, barcode decoders) into the core SDK framework.
    • Work closely with firmware engineers to define device-level communication protocols and debug hardware interface issues (USB, Serial, PC/SC).
  • Multi-Device & Network Expansion
    • Port and expand existing SDK, Demo App, and recognition libraries into cross-platform, networked environments (Linux, Embedded Systems, Tablets, and Edge devices).
    • Consider future network scalability when defining core communication architectures. (e.g., RESTful APIs, WebSockets)

Technical Documentation & Support
    • Write clean English technical documentation and API references for global B2B clients.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Image Processing, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience & Mindset:
    • 3-5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on C++ , C#/ .NET.
    • A proven self-starter who demonstrates high autonomy and takes clear ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Image Processing:
    • Solid hands-on experience utilizing computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV) for raw sensor data, camera calibration, or frame-level manipulation.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to write clean English technical documentation and communicate effectively with global technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating and optimizing OCR technologies or 1D/2D Barcode decoding libraries (e.g., processing PDF417, QR codes) within an SDK environment.
  • Embedded, Mobile & Network OS Expertise: Experience with Linux systems programming, Android/Tablet integration, or building SDK & Demo Apps for resource-constrained embedded industrial devices.
  • Experience with cross-platform tools such as CMake, Qt, or multi-OS packaging tools for SDK & Demo App distribution.
  • Experience interfacing software with hardware devices via USB, serial or PC/SC protocols, with a history of collaborating with firmware.
