Full Stack Software Engineer to support a premier Intelligence Community program. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination. In this position, you will design, develop, integrate, and maintain mission-critical software applications that enable customers to solve complex operational challenges. You will work within an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:In this role you will resolve tasks as prioritized by the product owner, take ownership of delivering enhancements within systems and applications, break down sizable tasks into manageable units with level-of-effort estimations, collaborate with fellow engineers to create and document technical designs, build software solutions in ambiguous problem spaces, and serve as Scrum Master by facilitating Scrum events and ensuring Agile processes and best practices are followed across the development team.
Required Skills/Experience:- Scrum Master experience supporting a software development or similar technical team
- Web development using Django, jQuery, Ajax, and REST APIs
- Object-oriented programming in Python, Java, and JavaScript
- Relational database development using SQL and PostgreSQL
- Development on Windows and Linux operating systems
- Version control using Git and GitLab
- GEOINT domain experience applied to troubleshooting, optimizing, and validating system behavior and data outputs
- Software architecture, development, and delivery of complex systems into production
- Agile development methodologies and CI/CD tools and practices
Preferred Skills/Experience:- Front-end development using React
- Client-Server and Model-View-Controller software architecture patterns
- Multi-cloud architecture experience across AWS, IBM, Google Cloud, and Azure
- AWS services including S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, CloudFormation, and RDS
Qualifications:- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or Master's degree in a related field
- US citizenship required per contract
- AWS DevOps Engineer certification or similar cloud certification (preferred)
