Job Title: Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer at Impiricus, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing our digital healthcare solutions. You will work across multiple platforms, ensuring scalable, high-performance software development while leading technical initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in backend and frontend development, architecture design, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation in healthcare technology.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React and Next.js, creating intuitive and high-performing experiences for internal and external users.
  • Develop reusable frontend components and translate UX/UI designs into polished, production-ready features.
  • Design, build, and integrate scalable APIs and backend services in Python to support web applications, data workflows, and AI-powered functionality.
  • Collaborate with Product and UX/UI teams to translate business requirements into thoughtful technical solutions and seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate and enhance LLM and AI-powered workflows, including prompt engineering, model integrations, and user-facing AI experiences.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in code reviews and contributing to shared engineering standards and best practices.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability across the frontend and backend through testing, monitoring, debugging, and optimization.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, cloud-native deployments, and observability, partnering with the broader engineering team to deliver reliable production releases.
  • Take ownership of features from development through deployment, communicate technical decisions clearly, and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement across the codebase.

Experience:
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience building production applications, with strong frontend experience using Next.js, React, or similar modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • Experience developing and integrating backend services and APIs, ideally using Python; Node.js experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive UI development, component-based architecture, and frontend performance.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI model integrations in production applications.
  • Proficiency working with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL), and full-stack application architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, or other modern DevOps practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
  • Experience in healthcare, HIPAA-regulated environments, or distributed engineering teams is a plus.

The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000.
