Software Engineer to support the design and development of advanced defense software capabilities. The selected candidate will work as an individual contributor on a collaborative engineering team responsible for developing software products that support complex mission systems.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment with high expectations, diverse technical assignments, and teams consisting of engineers across varying experience levels.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with 2 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 0 years of experience
- Experience programming in C++
- Ability to read and understand other programming languages
- Current, active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance required at the time of application and to start employment
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with the Systems Engineering Lifecycle
- Experience with simulation and simulation frameworks
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
- Experience developing unit tests and system-level tests
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
