Auria is looking to hire a Software Engineer to support the C2BMC program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
• Will primarily be responsible for software development in Java
• Interact with others using strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work either independently or collaboratively in a small group
• Be flexible in a highly dynamic, ever-changing environment
• Provide in-depth analysis and technical support for a large, distributed Java system
• Perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, integration, and user support for a large codebase
• Follow specifications to develop or modify functionality in the code
• Assist in design, benchmarking, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Interface with other system support groups to resolve issues, set standards, and improve the system's overall efficiency
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
• Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to be cleared at TS/SCI
• Experience with Java or C++ software development, software testing, or software integration
• Hands-on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
• Frequent contact with internal and external customers and representation of the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
• Applicants with a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance at the time of application are highly preferred
• Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, is highly preferred. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
• Full-stack web development experience preferred, including Angular/Cesium/JWT Authentication/TypeScript/HTML/CSS/Node.js/Wildfly
• Experience with Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, and Confluence is highly desired
• Experience with using and developing SW and creating scripts on Linux strongly desired
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $115,000 - $125,000
