[email protected] Description The selected candidate will be a lead developer for the Tax Modernization effort and provide support for maintenance activities. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Obtain business requirements to develop automated applications which meet business priorities.
- Provide lead programming duties for tax related applications.
- Develop and mentor staff using various technologies including J2EE, Spring, JSON, JavaScript and JDBC.
- Develop and review detailed documentation for system and program change requirement
- including detail specifications documents.
- Assist and provide guidance through all phases of the project management life
- Develop unit test plans based on coding changes and user specifications. Conduct unit testing and debugging of all code changes in the development environment.
- Coordinate the migration of all code changes (programs, procedures, etc.) from development environment into user test environment.
- Assist team members using distributed technologies including Java, DB2, XML and XQuery. Ensure that staff members are properly trained and mentored.
- Provide support, as needed, for defects and issue resolution. Ensure that defects and issues are addressed promptly based on priority.
- Facilitate and participate in meetings with ITS and DTF customers.
- Communicate both verbally and in writing, with DTF management and users, ITS management, and team members.
Mandatory Qualifications 1 60 months experience with J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP and XML 2 60 months experience developing, building, and testing Java EE applications using modern IDE's, such as Eclipse, Netbeans, or IntelliJ. 3 60 months experience using J2EE frameworks such as Spring or struts and Application Servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere or Weblogic 4 60 months experience writing SQL statements for relational databases 5 60 months of experience in system analysis and design of multitiered transactional systems. 6 36 months of experience in messaging technologies, such as MQ, JMS, Kafk
