We are hiring a
Software Data Engineer 2 to work in
Fort Meade, MD. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.
Required: TS/SCI with a Polygraph
As a Software Data Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon AI-related requirements. You will develop software solutions for AI-driven automation and efficiency gains, and design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and tools tailored to the operational needs of the customer. You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement mission requirements into technical solutions.
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:- Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in Software Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field from an accredited college or university; or zero (0) years of experience with a qualifying Master's or PhD degree. Three (3) years of Software Engineering experience with a high school diploma or GED would also be acceptable.
- Experience with Prompt Engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Position requires TS/SCI clearance with FSP
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:- Able to work in a collaborative environment as a team player.
- Familiarity with commercial and open-source AI/ML frameworks and platforms
- Experience designing, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models (LLMs)
- Ability to analyze data structures and data objects
