Job Purpose

To support the safe, efficient, and effective execution of field construction and maintenance activities by providing daily supervision and coordination of assigned crews in accordance with departmental and National Grid requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide direct, on-site supervision of union and/or contractor crews working on capital projects and system maintenance.
  • Assist in the development and execution of work plans, schedules, safety plans, and outage plans in collaboration with project teams and senior leadership.
  • Monitor daily crew activities to ensure safe work practices are being followed.
  • Provide field support for logistics, material handling, and job site readiness.
  • Assist with tracking progress against schedules and reporting any delays or concerns to the Lead or Sr Supervisor.
  • Foster positive working relationships with internal teams and contractors, supporting a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • May hold or assist with holding clearances under the direction of an authorized person.

  • Must be willing to respond to off-hour emergencies, on-call responsibilities, and support weekend work.
  • Travel across New England Territory is required to support continuous operation of the transmission system.
  • Willingness to grow into a leadership role through on-the-job experience and training to include progression too but not limited to Sr Supervisor.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree from an accredited institution in Construction Management, Business, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Valid US driver's license.

Salary - $133,000 - $156,000
