Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect with strong hands-on Python expertise to design, develop, optimize, and govern enterprise Snowflake data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Snowflake architecture, data modeling, performance optimization, data ingestion and transformation, security, and governance. This role will provide technical leadership across Snowflake initiatives, mentor technical teams, establish architectural standards, and work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions to meet business requirements.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of Snowflake architecture to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms.
• Apply hands-on Python expertise to support data engineering, automation, integration, and Snowflake-related development activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with other data tools and systems.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of Snowflake best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Drive innovation in data architecture by evaluating and adopting new Snowflake features and capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance on Snowflake data modeling, query optimization, and resource management.
• Ensure data governance, compliance, and security standards are maintained within Snowflake environments.
• Lead and mentor technical teams in Snowflake architecture and development.
• Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices for Snowflake deployments.
• Oversee complex Snowflake projects from inception through delivery, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to maintain optimal Snowflake system performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and analysts to drive data strategy and roadmap.
• Provide thought leadership and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing on Snowflake technologies.
• Manage risks, identify potential issues early, and implement mitigation strategies related to Snowflake implementations.

• Strong experience in Snowflake data architecture and data warehouse development.

• Hands-on Python development experience.

• Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security within Snowflake environments.
• Experience conducting Snowflake performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring Snowflake developers and engineers.
