Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect with strong hands-on Python expertise to design, develop, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performing Snowflake data warehouse solutions. This role will lead Snowflake architecture and development initiatives, establish data architecture standards, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise data solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions to meet business requirements.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of Snowflake architecture to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms.
• Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices for Snowflake deployments.
• Lead and mentor technical teams in Snowflake architecture and development.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of Snowflake best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Oversee complex Snowflake projects from inception through delivery, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with other data tools and systems.
• Provide technical guidance on Snowflake data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning, and resource management.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot Snowflake environments to maintain optimal system performance.
• Drive innovation in data architecture by evaluating new Snowflake features and capabilities.
• Ensure data governance, compliance, security, and architectural standards are maintained within Snowflake environments.
• Manage risks, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies related to Snowflake implementations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to drive data strategy and roadmap initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing on Snowflake technologies.
Required Qualifications
• Strong experience in Snowflake data architecture and development.
• Extensive knowledge of Snowflake architecture, data warehousing, data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Hands-on experience with Python in data engineering or Snowflake environments.
• Strong experience with Snowflake data modeling, SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience defining and implementing architectural standards and best practices for Snowflake deployments.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise data platforms.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and data platform risk management.
• Experience leading technical teams and providing technical guidance on Snowflake architecture and development.
