Qualifications

  • Ensure quality control of snow school lessons and adherence to training curriculum.
  • Assist in managing daily and seasonal training logistics to align with labor goals and budget constraints.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The Technical Trainer exemplifies our culture of creating revolutionary guest experiences and contributes positively toward uniting the team around purpose and fun. This role is responsible for maintaining quality control of snow school lessons, training curriculum and attendance of our on-snow instructor training. They will assist the department Manager and Assistant Managers to review and contribute to departmental orientation, on-snow training, the Snow School pocket pro and ensure that daily and seasonal training schedules are manageable for trainers and staff and in line with departmental labour goals and budget.
  • Lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of instructor training programs in alignment with CSIA, CASI, PSIC, and resort standards.
  • Develop and coordinate seasonal training plans, onboarding, and orientation programs in collaboration with Snow School leadership.
  • Mentor and coach instructors through ongoing feedback, on-hill support, certification preparation, and professional development opportunities.


WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Level 4 Certification and must be an active and current course conductor/evaluator/trainer through CSIA, CASI, or PSIC.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to gain knowledge specific to their job area and is receptive to feedback from leadership to further their own growth and expertise.
  • Post Secondary education an asset
  • Pervious Snow School leadership an asset
