Job Description

We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Smart Expansion Sales Specialist with a hunter mindset to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on identifying untapped opportunities, prospecting new business, and building relationships from the ground up. This individual will focus on a high-potential portfolio of community hospitals and long-tail opportunity accounts. Success in this role requires a proactive, self-starting approach and a passion for growing business in underserved or emerging markets.

This role will be responsible for calling on anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons, critical care medicine, cardiac surgeons and EP Lab. Primary products include FloTrac Sensor, ClearSight cuff, Acumen IQ cuff/sensors and ForeSight used for continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring and/or tissue oximetry devices utilized in outpatient surgeries. These products assist in enhanced surgical recovery, hypotension management, sepsis and shock management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify untapped opportunities within a high-potential portfolio of community hospitals and long-tail opportunity accounts
  • Prospect new business and build relationships from the ground up with anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons, critical care medicine specialists, and EP Lab professionals
  • Drive business growth within new and existing accounts by finding opportunities and closing deals
  • Analyze performance gaps and complete short-term regional strategies to meet sales targets
  • Educate customers on primary products, including FloTrac Sensor, ClearSight cuff, Acumen IQ cuff/sensors, and ForeSight, used for continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring and/or tissue oximetry devices
  • Apply influencing skills to impact buying decisions by being tactful and diplomatic

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the medical devices industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and focused
  • Ability to travel up to 70%


Preferred Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor products
  • Understanding of BU strategy, selling model, medical devices industry, and the selling environment of own territory
  • Strong grasp of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to APM medical products
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build productive internal and external relationships and ongoing interactions with relevant customer contacts
