ResponsibilitiesPeraton requires an AV/VTC Technician to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is located at Hurlburt Field, FL.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Installs, configures, manages, maintains, operates, and defends common area VTC equipment, including day-to-day setup, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Schedules, coordinates, and administers multiple simultaneous VTC sessions.
- Provides dedicated support to VTCs attended by VIPs.
- Recommends upgrades to VTC systems.
- Provides version control and provisioning via a Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) for VTC CODECs.
- Installs flat panel displays, room based VTC endpoints, projectors, and A/V equipment.
- Resolves issues down to the equipment level (black box).
- Manages, maintains, and posts a daily MSL and shift change procedures.
- Schedules, configures, and connects users to DISA GVS and DVS conferences.
- Trains designated personnel on the operation of VTC equipment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Min 6 years with HS Diploma; 4 years with AS/AA degree; or 2 years with BS/BA.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Target Salary Range$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
