Site Security Representative - Security Manager to join our team at
Marine Corps Base Hawaii/Kaneohe Oahu, Hawaii.
This position will assist Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory and Marine Corps Deputy Commandant for Information ICD 705 Task Force (TF) across all phases to assist receiving units to prepare their classified programs, oversee and document construction, and establish and operate the completed and accredited ICD 705 sensitive facilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assume and maintain the role of Site Security Representative (SSR) or Contract Special Security Officer (CSSO) to oversee the day-to-day security operations which includes:
- Accounting, control, safeguarding of classified data, materials and systems
- Proper destruction of classified materials
- Certifying and receiving visitor access
- Population of Defense Information Systems for Security (DISS) and/or Joint Access Database Environment (JADE)
- Manage personnel, information, physical, and technical security actions
- Coordination with other Marine Corps and joint tenant commands or visitors for facility access requirements
- Coordination with capability Programs-of-Record or developmental programs for installs, upgrades, or de-installs
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and at least 10+ years' security experience as part of a team operating SCIF/SAPFs and related programs.
- Ability to perform 5% travel; ability to travel to Marine Corps locations on Oahu within Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Camp Smith, Pearl Harbor, etc.
- Experience with MS Word.
Preferred Qualifications: - Formal education/training on SCIF and/or SAPF related security.
Clearance Requirements : - Must hold a current/active Top Secret clearance.
- Must be eligible to hold an active/current TS/SCI clearance within 30-45 days of starting.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments; walk (with personal protective equipment) to inspect and document delivery of materials and modifications to structure.
The projected compensation range for this position is $97,100.00-$161,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
