Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead, contribute to SRE of platform mesh, includes infra and monitoring, observability, performance.
Drive the initiatives - related to Observability, Chaos Engineering, Chargebacks, Automation, Infrastructure as code etc.
Work with Kubernetes, Azure cloud, Prometheus, Grafana, Java, Python and many other modern SaaS technologies
Participate in projects involving people of many different disciplines: Engineering, Cloud, Networking, CI/CD, Project management, Monitoring, alerting etc.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Linux, networking, CI/CD, and large cluster management and automation.
Provide technical and business guidance for complex user problems.
React to production deficiencies by continuously implementing automation, self-healing, and real-time monitoring to production systems.
Monitoring tools and technologies (Dynatrace)
Conduct postmortem after a production issues.
Work closely with DEV teams and define SLI/SLAs
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of professional IT experience (system administration, software development, or a combination), with steadily increasing responsibilities
4+ years of experience designing and building highly distributed, reliable systems.
5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or building reliable platforms following SRE practices.
4+ years managing cloud environment (OCP, Kubernetes)
Experience with creating dashboards in Grafana.
Experience with docker containers and k8s is great plus.
Experience with EAPM integration and creating dashboards.
Experience planning and supporting +99.99% availability against critical applications in production.
Experience with Agile & CI/CD methodologies and enabling automation within development teams.
Practical experience with one or more programming or scripting languages
Experience with one or more modern monitoring and log forwarding tools.
Proficient with modern software tools, technology, and practices
