Full Job Description
As Site Project Manager for Construction Sites, your workday starts at an industrial construction site. You will plan and organize the daily site activities together with your team. You will be the primary contact for the customer, authorities, contractors, and partners at the construction site. You will align and work closely with the project management and the back-office project team.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Assume overall responsibility for all Siemens Energy on-site activities, serving as the legally responsible site representative for all project personnel and work performed on site.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, regulations, and procedures, while promoting and leading a Zero Harm culture across all scopes of responsibility.
  • Represent Project Management on site with customers, authorities, contractors, partners, and consultants, and escalate issues that may impact project scope, budget, schedule, or quality.
  • Lead on-site execution of the Siemens Energy scope of work, ensuring achievement of project objectives related to schedule, quality, financial performance, and milestone completion through the use of standardized tools and processes.
  • Manage and document deviations, non-conformances, contract and claim activities, and ensure closure of all technical project changes and open points prior to applicable project milestones.
  • Coordinate and control corrective action plans, cost-evaluated risk mitigation strategies, opportunity management initiatives, and concurrent cost accounting activities, including cost-to-complete forecasting.
  • Monitor construction progress through regular schedule reviews, support site-specific reporting requirements (daily, weekly, etc.), and ensure effective capture and communication of lessons learned, project experience, and status updates.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading on-site electrical, mechanical, or civil construction activities on major construction projects; Candidates with more experience can be considered for higher level or vice-versa.
  • Extensive experience delivering complex industrial EPC and/or consortium projects, with strong knowledge of construction and commissioning processes and methodologies.
  • In depth knowledge and competence in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, practices, regulations, and plans for onsite works for complex construction projects.
  • Proven ability to lead multinational teams in fast-paced environments through strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willing and able to travel and work at construction sites 90-100% during construction. Global travel may be required; English proficiency is required.
  • Project Management certification preferred (PMP, IPMA).
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
