JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time Site Manager to support the DLA mission, DLA Distribution, to manage, operate, and perform the Distribution Center functions within a sustained auditable environment.
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Place of Performance: Barstow, CA
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, except observed Federal holidays.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Site Manager will provide overall supervision for the employees to include, but not limited to, planning and managing the contract professionally; coaching and mentoring supervisors and leads ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources; ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided; effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services ordered; and execute cost saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost. The Site Manager will provide overall management coordination and serve as the central point of contact (POC) with the Government for all work under the contract. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience:
As a minimum, the Site Manager must possess at least five (5) years of experience in Distribution Management, or have at least ten (10) years of management experience in distribution operations. Experience must include a minimum of three (3) years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years. Must possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
Qualifications:
- Understand the importance and incorporate risk management and internal controls into the daily operations to combat fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement.
- Adhere to Contract Requirements, which include Audit Sustainment requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Stop work when there is a problem with any aspect of the process and engage with supervisors for resolution.
- Ability to pass a NACI or secret background investigation and drug screen.

- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess knowledge and ability to perform simple arithmetic.
- Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess excellent ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Possess the ability to work with minimal Government oversight.
