POSITION SUMMARYJoin Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) asa Site Human Resources Advisor and be the driving force behind a strong,supported, and high-performing workforce at Red Chris Mine. As the on-site HRlead, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience-partneringwith leaders and crews to deliver practical, people-focused HR support in afast-paced, remote environment.
From recruitment and onboarding to employee relationsand performance support, you will help keep operations running smoothly whilefostering a respectful, inclusive workplace grounded in TNDC's values. This isan opportunity to make a meaningful impact-supporting both operational successand the growth of the Tahltan workforce.
Responsibilities- Act as the on-site HR point of contact,providing guidance and support to employees and supervisors on day-to-day HRmatters, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policiesand programs
- Support recruitment, onboarding, andworkforce planning activities, including promoting Tahltan employmentopportunities
- Ensure compliance with all applicableprovincial and federal legislation, company policies, and HR best practices;update policies and procedures as required
- Maintain accurate and confidential HRrecords, ensuring all HR activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in atimely manner
- Assist with performance management, coaching,progressive discipline, and disability/return-to-work programs in collaborationwith site leadership and HSE
- Support timekeeping, payroll inquiries,reporting, and general HR administration
- Coordinate training and developmentinitiatives to support employee growth, retention, and workforce capacity
- Collaborate with operations and HSE teams tosupport a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment
- Participate in toolbox talks, safetymeetings, and other site meetings as required
- Performadditional duties as assigned
Qualifications- Post-secondary education in Human Resources,Business Administration, or a related field, with 2-5 years of HR experience(preferably in construction, mining, or industrial environments)
- Experience in a remote or rotational campsetting is an asset
- Strong knowledge of BC employment standards,HR best practices, and experience supporting employee relations, recruitment,and performance management
- Excellent communication and interpersonalskills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
- Highly organized with the ability to managemultiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRISsystems
- Ability to work independently on-site whileremaining aligned with corporate HR
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution,and decision-making skills
- Maintains a high level of professionalism,discretion, and confidentiality
- Adaptable and comfortable working in aremote, camp-based environment
- Demonstrates cultural awareness and acommitment to Indigenous engagement and inclusion

WORKING CONDITIONS- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation at Red Chris Mine,with camp accommodations and meals provided
- Combination of office-based work and on-siteengagement with employees and leadership
- Fast-paced, dynamic environment with changingoperational priorities
- Regular interaction with a diverse workforce acrosssite
- Exposure to active industrial conditions, includingweather and construction/mining activities
- Travel to and from site required, with arrangementsprovided
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT- Ability to work a 2x2 rotational schedule ina remote camp environment
- Pass mandatory pre-employment drug andalcohol screening
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and ability toprovide a driver's abstract
- Willingness to sign an Oath ofConfidentiality
- Willingness to travel as required
