Site Controller, Vascular Operations

Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease. Our extensive portfolio includes vessel prep, drug-eluting stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters and software, vessel closure devices, peripheral stents and thrombectomy.

The Opportunity

Our Temecula, California location is currently seeking a Site Controller responsible for providing leadership in the design, maintenance, and evaluation of all financial activitiesfor the plantin accordance with established plant, divisionand corporate policies. The Site Controller, as a member of the plant management team, provides guidance in setting strategic direction and designing business plans to achieve the long-term mission of the plant.

What You99ll Work On

  • The Site Controller is responsible for financialleadership in a plant. The position99s functional responsibility influences Manufacturing,QA, Engineering and Supply Chain through budget decisions, financial training, financial recommendations,and general business guidance
  • Financial point of contact with local government, internal/external auditors, local counsel, certain suppliers and certain regulatory bodies (tax, customs)
  • Interact with the Global and Regional Manufacturing Controllers and the Divisional VP of Manufacturing through presentations of financial plans/analyses/strategies and responsible for representing the plant in these discussions
  • In conjunction with the Site Director, set the appropriate financial direction ensuring the proper reflection of financial results and forecasts
  • Facilitate proper reporting, analysis and monitoring of actual results across manufacturing organizations
  • Coordinate, consolidate and generally manage the development of plans for the plant including standards, LBE99s and capital budgets
  • Prepare annual cost standards for products at plant, including existing and new products
  • Working in conjunction with Plant and Operations management, develop and implement financial and operational measurement tools focusing on productivity and customer service improvements
  • Facilitate unit cost savings and overall cost reduction forums for the site to drive gross margin improvement and monitor progress against commitments
  • Accountable for gathering, analyzing and interpreting of accounting and financial data for the preparation and presentation of meaningful reports, and recommendations to both Plant and Division Management.
  • Assure compliance to all relevant GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, as well as Corporate and divisional policies and procedures. Leverage ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to ensure accurate inventory, costing, and financial reporting
  • Drive automation, standardization, and simplification of finance processes in alignment with corporate initiatives
  • Partner with shared services, IT, and global finance teams to improve data integrity and reporting efficiency
  • Support system implementations or upgrades in regulated manufacturing environments
  • Lead, develop, and mentor site finance team members
  • Build strong cross9functional relationships across operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical financial stewardship

Required Qualifications

The base pay for this position is

$129,300.00 6 $258,700.00
