This is a hybrid role with three days per week required onsite. We are considering candidates based out of Newport News (VA) or Virginia Beach.
This individual will design diverse projects including mixed-use, residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial development. The diversity of responsibilities requires a flexible mindset and cooperative team-oriented attitude with progressively increasing design and management capabilities.
You'll spend your time:- Developing innovative technical land development design solutions
- Collaborating with senior engineers and managers to develop innovative design solutions and address project challenges
- Working collaboratively with a team of go-getters and industry leaders
- Engaging in strong client relationships through frequent communications
- Designing diverse projects including mixed-use, residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial development
- Mentoring and educating early-career Site/Civil staff
About you:- You hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering
- You hold professional registration (P.E.) in Virginia
- You have 5-10+ years of land development design experience with Virginia clients/projects
- You are a self-starter who is eager to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- You are well-versed in civil engineering design including: stormwater, utilities, paving, roadway design, grading
- You are proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D
- You are familiar with state and municipal design and development processes
- You interact effectively with municipal approval authorities

$79,500 to $132,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
