Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead Black Belt initiatives at the Walton site.
  • Manage and collaborate on transformation projects both at Walton and other sites.
  • Co-facilitate Continuous Improvement events related to the Belt program.
  • Train and coach future Green Belts to enhance their skillsets.
  • Facilitate Kaizen Events and related Lean tools.
  • Support the growth and implementation of the Belt approach on site.
  • Perform additional tasks as deemed necessary.

Job description

Overall support of the Walton site's Competitiveness roadmap.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Black Belt leader:
o Obtain Black Belt certification through the successful completion of the training, testing, project completion and jury certification.
o Manage transformation projects within the Walton site and in collaboration with other Safran Landing Systems sites.
o Co-lead site and Corporate CI events related to Belt program.
o Support Belt network.
o Assist coaching of One Safran projects .
o Support the growth of the belt approach within the site.
• Lean Sigma methodologies and tools referent:
o Train future Green Belts.
o Coach and develop Green Belts.
o Support Kaizen Events by leading the facilitation of some GB tools.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Periodic domestic and international travels.
