Lam Research is seeking an experienced
SIP Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, governance, and evolution of enterprise information protection, application security, and Digital Transformation platforms. This role serves as the enterprise authority for Sensitive Information Protection (SIP), driving secure, scalable, and compliant solutions that protect Lam's intellectual property, confidential business information, customer data, and regulated content.
The successful candidate will define enterprise roadmaps, establish architecture standards, and provide technical leadership across information protection, cloud security, DevSecOps, platform engineering, and data architecture. This role requires strong strategic thinking, executive communication, and the ability to influence technology direction across a global organization.
What you'll do- Define and execute SIP, security, and platform architecture strategies aligned with business, compliance, and Digital Transformation objectives.
- Architect enterprise information protection solutions leveraging Microsoft Purview, Sensitivity Labels, DLP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Fabric, Azure, and enterprise applications.
- Provide architectural leadership for application security, Zero Trust, identity and access management, encryption, secure SDLC, and DevSecOps practices.
- Lead architecture reviews, governance processes, risk assessments, and technology standards across enterprise platforms.
- Establish scalable integration patterns, APIs, automation frameworks, and cloud-native architectures supporting enterprise growth.
- Drive platform reliability, operational excellence, observability, automation, and managed service governance.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor to business and technology leadership and mentor architects, engineers, and strategic partners.
- Partner with Microsoft, consulting firms, and managed service providers to evaluate technologies, influence roadmaps, and deliver strategic initiatives.
Who we're looking for- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, security architecture, platform engineering, or related disciplines.
- Deep expertise in information protection, application security, cloud security, identity management, and governance.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale transformation initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD, database architecture, data engineering, and enterprise platform modernization.
Preferred qualifications- CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA, Azure Security, or similar certifications.
- Experience protecting intellectual property and highly confidential information in large global enterprises.
- Experience supporting ERP, PLM, MES, CRM, and Digital Transformation programs.
- Strong executive communication, technology strategy, and vendor management experience.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
