SUMMARY:

A SIOP Manager plays a crucial role in aligning sales, operations, and financial plans. This position is one of the foundational anchors for the transformational workstream of SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning) that has been developed and launched in H&V. H&V is looking for a motivated and influential person who can transfer that energy and engage others within the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Play leading role in expanding a SIOP program to other production networks in H&V.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end impact of the supply chain within SIOP, including sourcing, site capabilities, and customer profiles.
  • Facilitate SIOP Meetings: Lead meetings to ensure the team is aligned on the plan and address any issues and ensure decisions are made.
  • Provide insight into supply and demand constraints, potential risks, and opportunities for inventory optimization.
  • Report and Forecast: Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and recommendations to management. This includes deviations from previous plans.
  • Work with the plants to develop and pilot an S&OE process to bridge the gap between SIOP and weekly/daily schedule execution.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to strengthen SIOP processes. This would include opportunities to utilize solutions/software provided by leading companies and/or AI tools for demand and supply planning.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, escalating decisions when consensus is required. This includes sales, demand managers, operations, supply chain, upper management and in some instances our customers.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in supply chain, including SIOP(S&OP) processes.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in technical discipline)

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to identify trends and variability in supply capabilities of the assets.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to work across different departments and levels of the organization.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with planning software and tools
  • Superior written & verbal communication and presentation skills
