As a member of the JSE Engineering Team, you will focus on the troubleshooting, configuration, optimization, and development of the F-22 and/or F-35 FIAB for advanced synthetic test and training environments within JSE at the JITTC-N. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support daily FIAB operations by monitoring system performance and ensuring stable execution within JSE.
- Troubleshoot FIAB issues by reviewing FIAB source code and/or JSE Platform Plugin (JPP) source code.
- Integrate FIAB mission-system models, sensor models, software interfaces, and avionics behaviors into the JSE simulation environment.
- Develop enhancements, resolve defects, and optimize FIAB software performance within distributed or real-time simulation architectures.
- Integrate FIAB capabilities with other JSE and non-JSE platforms across synthetic training and test environments.
- Assist with accurately documenting, reporting, and tracking deficiencies related to FIAB and JPP components.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and Government SMEs to support reliable, high-fidelity synthetic test and training capabilities.
