Position: Signal Integrity Manager

Location: Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high-speed, high-bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Signal Integrity Engineering Manager for our OverPass Business Unit, you'll lead a dynamic team designing copper-based I/O cable assemblies for high-bandwidth applications-supporting data rates up to 448 Gbps/lane. This role blends technical depth with team leadership and customer engagement across next-gen cloud, data center, 5G, and enterprise markets.
  • Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing roadmap and strategy aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for new features, bug fixes, and regression testing.
  • Prioritize testing efforts based on business impact, risk assessment, and available resources.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Guide a team of signal integrity engineers developing advanced OverPass systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of tester design, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Assign tasks, track progress, and provide regular feedback to team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide career development opportunities for team members.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle, minimizing rework and improving overall product quality.
  • Monitor test execution, analyze test results, and drive resolution of open issues.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
  • Serve as a liaison between the testing team, development teams, product management, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and status updates to ensure transparency and alignment across teams.
  • Participate in product planning and design reviews, providing valuable insights on testing perspectives.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SI and other testing.
    • Encourage innovation and experimentation within the testing team.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical communication / electrical engineering/ computer science/ software engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in development and SI (signal integrity) testing, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with a defect tracking system.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
