Full Job Description
Ultradent, a global name in oral health, is look for a GlobalShipping Manager to be responsible for all global shipping operations, shipping teams, managing HTS codes and import/export compliance.

This important position will also be responsible for the following:
  • Responsible for overseeing the international and domestic shipping of all Ultradent products.
  • Ensure that all international shipments are processed in compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
  • Maintain, train, and manage shipping teams to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. This includes recruitment, selection, and orientation of staff.
  • Lead projects and assesses fulfillment results to improve shipping practices.
  • Manage all shipping departmental expenses related to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Control costs through productivity of personnel.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and coordinate the implementation of solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Promote team environment and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.
  • Lead by example to actively promote ethical business behavior and organizational values and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Establish and update SOPs as needed.
  • Other duties as required and/or assigned.


What we're looking for in you:
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a global shipping environment, with progressive management responsibility across multiple transportation and compliance platforms. Current certifications in IATA, 49 CFR, and IMDG regulations are strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in international shipping and trade compliance, including the use of HTS codes and import/export regulations, documentation, and procedures is ideal.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a proven track record of identifying process inefficiencies, implementing solutions, and delivering measurable operational improvements.

Must also have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer skills to perform this job successfully. An individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; inventory software, manufacturing software, warehouse management software and possess general email writing and online research skills.
